I am a multi-dimensional artist best known for oil painting, photography, pottery, papermaking and book arts.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I married young and moved to Florida, then the Republic of Panama, where I became a potter and finally to the Washington, DC area. After the end of my marriage, I went back to college to study Art and Education, and became an art teacher. During 13 fantastic years as a teacher I acquired a graduate degree in Education and a new husband. Unfortunately, I also developed multiple sclerosis and was eventually forced to retire from teaching. Although in a wheelchair, I still have the use of my left hand and can use my right enough to handle a mouse!! I've also learned to love the voice recognition software, Dragon NaturallySpeaking. My husband, Vince, and I share our home with 3 dogs and 3 cats, as well as the deer and other wild creatures who inhabit our woods.
Painting, pottery, photography, writing, computers, other arts and way too much Spider Solitaire!
